We regret to inform you that Intel® is discontinuing the Intel® Pathfinder for RISC-V program effective immediately. Since Intel will not be providing any additional releases or bug fixes, we encourage you to promptly transition to third-party RISC-V software tools that best meet your development needs.

Intel continues to follow a multi-ISA strategy in support of Intel’s IDM 2.0 strategy including x86, RISC-V and Arm. Intel continues to foster the RISC-V ISA by advancing RISC-V specifications and developing a robust RISC-V software ecosystem.

Additionally,

• Intel Foundry Services (IFS) will continue to support RISC-V. For IFS customers interested in RISC-V, Intel will focus primarily on RISC-V general purpose processors and accelerators for datacenter applications. The IFS Innovation fund will continue to seek opportunities to grow the ecosystem and expand the overall RISC-V silicon business.
• The Intel Programmable Solutions Group will continue to offer the featured Intel® FPGA platforms. RISC-V core providers and other ecosystem partners can continue to drive their own SDK’s and other software capabilities on Intel® FPGA platforms.
